Established in 2009 as Carmichael Groundworks and Building Services, we shortly became Carmichael & Baxter Groundworks Limited, focused upon industrial scale concrete flooring and drainage.

Since inception, we have continued to build our reputation for flawless, efficient groundworks and civil engineering, expanding our portfolio of services and acting as both main contractor and sub-contractor working for some of the country’s leading facility management companies, contractors, builders and agricultural organisations.

Building foundations

Our services are frequently deployed in conjunction with our sister company, Industrial Services, providing a turnkey project delivery service, comprising installation, construction and maintenance.We also serve the consumer market, providing groundworks services for home and leisure construction.

Taylor and Fraser have subcontracted Carmichael & Baxter Groundworks in to carry out the groundworks and blockwork/brickworks packages at the new Y centre in Atholl Street Perth. This project hasn’t always been straightforward. As is the case with lots of renovations that are undertaken, sometimes old buildings can hide a lot of challenges but it’s pleasing to note the Carmichael & Baxter have rose to every challenge and overcome them, continuing in the process to deliver excellent work.
